Sounds for AI Aircraft
Giving your airports more atmosphere
MSFS, FSX and Prepar3D have aircraft add-ons with great sounds, but when it comes to AI, the sounds of the jet engines are like vacuum cleaners. That could be made a lot better, with the excellent 'sound cone' option implemented since FSX.
With the ability to configure these sound cones you can program the direction and angle of each sound component of an engine. Shortly said, the sound of a jet sounds different at the front than at the back of the engine, what's great for AI traffic. Each sound consists of a number of sound samples that are programmed to have a specific volume and pitch level at a specific throttle setting. These all combined together and that makes the aircraft sound.
The few expensive sound add-ons that I found, were much too complicated and complex, there's no need to have many samples programmed into the engine sound, the simulator can't handle all AI aircraft with complex and large samples at once anyway, and will 'drop' some samples to manage memory usage.

'Normal' aircraft sounds are not suitable for AI in internal (in-cockpit) mode!
Mostly the sounds you can find are for the plane you're flying, and that's not the same: the internal sounds are then madeas if you are fixed close to your own engine (in the front of them), So just copying the files to the AI aircraft sound folder will give you unreal internal sounds of AI aircraft passing by. Also, most internal sounds don't use 3D soundcones because your position is fixed relative to your aircraft anyway.

Simple is better for AI!
Also, these sounds are far to complex for AI, each engine doesn't need a separate complete soundmap, the AI aircraft is mostly in the distance, so simple is better.

Lightweight!
So I thought why not make them myself! My idea of a good AI sound pack is that they are as lightweight as possible but with well thought-out sound cones (that's why it's not for pre-FSX) and good quality authentic sound files. The external sounds should be crisp and clear and internal the same sounds should be identical only somewhat muffled.

Pointsoft Pro-ATC/X is an ATC Add-on for FSX and PrePar3D
Extra Voices for Pro-ATC
What's My goal?
The way Flight Simulator-X controls traffic is more or less superficial. It may be sufficient for beginners, but once you get a shade more familiar with it, you'll probably notice soon that a lot of things are missing. Things like copilot support, missed approaches, departure and arrival procedures (SIDs/STARs)...
Flying online is better, but here you'll be on your own once there is no controller in charge for a certain frequency - and our experience is, that many frequencies are not supervised during a flight. There must be a better way...
PRO-ATC/X replaces Air Traffic Control in FSX in an impressive manner. The implemented Flight Planner is able to calculate a whole route simply by defining departure and destination airports while editing a calculated route is still possible. PRO-ATC/X is designed to control aircraft flying under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). So if you prefer "The Big Ones", you are for sure surfing on the right site.

Great add-on, has the most natural voices! like it very much! But.......
What's that? Hearing a Lufthansa Pilot with a British accent? Or a Heathrow ATC with a German accent? That's strange!
Think of the immersion if you are flying over France hearing ATC with a French accent, crossing the border, and switching Comm channel, all of the sudden listening to German ATC! Yeah, that's what we want!
Unfortunately such a update would be a crap load of work, almost impossible. Each voice consists of some 1370 words (including the callsigns), which have to be spoken in by someone. Think of all the different voices, you don't want 1 or 2 voices for all the controllers in one dialect, that would be dull too. So I was thinking, if these voices are already there, it would be a relatively next small step to upgrade the application to use these voices according to ATC location and airline origin. The "genuine ATC chatter" option works somewhat the same.
I think without these voices already available, such an update will never happen.
